Rodolfo Araujo leads the development of activism defense, investor relations, corporate governance, and sustainability strategies for corporations and asset managers. With over a decade of experience in the investment industry, he brings a deep understanding of the financial and ESG factors that drive value creation and stakeholder alignment. Rodolfo has helped numerous corporations achieve successful outcomes in their interactions with investors, enhancing market perception, improving valuation, and securing shareholder support in contentious situations.

Before founding ShareEdge, he was a Partner at EY-Parthenon and previously a Senior Managing Director and Head of Corporate Governance and Activism at FTI Consulting. In both roles, he worked closely with corporate leaders to shape investor-facing strategies, helping companies navigate complex shareholder dynamics, enhance governance practices, and align financial and ESG narratives to secure investor support.

Prior to consulting, Rodolfo was a Vice President at Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS), where he was involved in over 100 contested situations, including many of the most high-profile proxy battles and M&A transactions in recent years. Before ISS, Rodolfo was a buy-side equity analyst working for long-term-oriented asset managers with concentrated portfolios.

Rodolfo holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, an MA in Marketing from ESPM, and a BA in Communication from the Catholic University of Salvador. He is a CFA charterholder, holds the CFA Institute’s Certificate in Sustainable Investing, and is a member of both the Society for Corporate Governance and the Council of Institutional Investors.
